As Halo Waypoint now goes up to level 50, they have now announced a new avatar award for people that reach level 50, an EVA Avatar Helmet.

Its really not that easy though! To reach level you must unlock EVERY achievment across all 3 Halo games.

A week today and Christmas will be here!! You can give your Xbox Avatar an early Christmas present by heading over to the Marketplace and downloading this free ‘Present Prop’.

Now your Xbox Avatar can now what it feels like to get that horrible Christmas jumper!!!

It looks like Twitter hasnt taken off on the Xbox as well as Microsoft had hoped so they are now giving away a Final Fantasy Avatar Awards!

As we thought the Xbox Avatar Awards are now flooding in. The latest game to get the release the unlockable awards is LIPS.

To unlock these items for your xbox avatar you simply need to complete the tasks below:

Shades of “Lady Gaga” – Earned the Superstar Grand Rank (Both)
Disco Boots – Earned a Gold Cup (Lips: Number One Hits.)
Shades of Infinity – Earn an Infinity Rating on a Song (Both)
Sassy Pie – Sang one song (Lips: Number One Hits)

After Splosion Man announced their Avatar Awards many people where unsure if they would start and end with that game, or if other developers would embrace the Xbox Avatar awards and they would start popping up everywhere. We personally had hoped for the latter – which appears to be true!!

So, Halo Waypoint has been released, and with it quite a few new Xbox Avatar Awards including:

Halo Waypoint Monitor - This is unlocked as soon as you start Halo Waypoint

Recon Helmet – Get the Halo 3: ODST Vidmaster Endure Achievement

ODST Helmet – Get the Halo 3: ODST’s Campaign Achievement

ODST Hoodie -Get the Halo 3: ODST’s Dark Times Achievements

ODST Armor -Get the Halo 3: ODST’s Good Samaritan Achievement

ODST Shirt – Get the Halo 3: ODST’s Tourist Achievement

Im sure they will release a few more in the future.

Left 4 Dead 2 xbox avatar awards are the latest awards to be announced. It seems now that Splosion Man has activated the avatar awards, other games will start using this feature.

At the minute, Valve – the creator of Left 4 Dead 2 have confirmed 6 avatar awards which are:

1) Left 4 Dead 2 Male Shirt – Win 10 games of Scavenge to unlock the L4D2 shirt.
2) Left 4 Dead 2 Female Shirt – Win 10 games of Scavenge to unlock the L4D2 shirt.
3) Depeche Mode Male Shirt – Rescue Gnome Chompski from Dark Carnival to unlock a Depeche Mode shirt.
4) Depeche Mode Female Shirt – Rescue Gnome Chompski from Dark Carnival to unlock a Depeche Mode shirt.
5) Zombie Male Shirt – Kill 10,000 infected to unlock a zombie shirt.
6) Zombie Male Shirt – Kill 10,000 infected to unlock a zombie shirt.

It looks like we Xbox Avatar Awards may soon start flooding it – and we can eventually finish the Xbox Avatar Award Guide!

Its Official, XBOX AVATAR AWARDS ARE NOW AVAILABLE! Twisted Pixel, the developer of Splosion Man has announced an update for the game which fixes a problem with lag during online multiplayer and also officially released the unlockable xbox avatar awards!

Rob Bowling from Infinity Ward, the makers of Modern Warfare 2 has confirmed that there WILL be some Modern Warfare Avatar items. In one of his tweets, he announced, “Not sure we’ll be doing any Avatar rewards, but we are making avatar items. With some free ones hopefully.”

So it doesnt look like we will be getting any Xbox Avatar Awards, but instead be given the items for FREE!!! Lets just hope they dont go back on it and try and charge us.

Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2 is due out on the 10th November – I guess we will have to wait and see…

Ok, so not exactely an Xbox Avatar Award, but its free so I’m classing it as one.

Certain copies of the new Beatles Rock Band have been labelled with “Free The Beatles Rock Band Shirt” stickers. Now the label looks like you get an actual free shirt, but read on, you dont, you get an xbox avatar award!

This is the first time (that we are aware of), that xbox avatar kit has been given away with games, although, hopefully others will follow and we will get more Xbox Avatar Awards just by buying games! Lets just hope the labels on the cases are a bit clearer next time, rather than trying to trick you into thinking its a real shirt.

I wonder if you can unlock xbox avatar awards in the game as well?
