Hi Guys,

There was a lot of people that found the heads up on the Amazon deal helpful the other day. We have now decided that we may expand Xbox Avatar Awards .com to cover more general xbox news as well as Xbox Avatar Awards news.

This would mainly include, offers on XBL (including free Xbox Live weekends), and new games etc.

Let me know what you guys think, should this become the one stop place for all your Xbox news, or should we keep it back to Avatar Award news?

Now that Microsoft has rolled out the latest xbox update with loads of new LIVE features now available they have decided to give out a couple of FREE Xbox Live Membership Weekends to silver members so you can get an idea of what you are missing online!

During the free weekends (or if you have Xbox Live Gold anyway), you will be able to play online multiplayer (duh!), use Facebook, Twitter, Last.FM, SkyPlayer, Netflix and play 1 v 100!

For players in Europe the free weekend will be from 5pm on November 25th through to 5pm on November 30th (all times are GMT).

For the rest of the world, the free weekend will be 5pm on November 20th through to 5pm on November 23rd (All times are GMT).

So if there is still anybody out there who doesnt have Live, get a free taste of it at the weekend, then head over Here and buy a 12 month subscription!

A couple of new games added to the Xbox Marketplace recently. There are a total of 28 items for Assassin’s creed, and 20 items for DJ Hero.

The Xbox Avatar items for Assassins creed range from face masks, through to full altair outfits and even Da Vinci’s Flying Machine! View the Assassins creed range here.

Possibly the most anticipated game of the year, and only 5 days till release!! Call Of Duty Modern Warfare 2!! If you cant wait until then to get your fix of COD, then why not kit your Xbox Avatar out with some of the new items available from the Avatar Marketplace.

Disco Boots – Earned a Gold Cup (Lips: Number One Hits.)

After Splosion Man announced their Avatar Awards many people where unsure if they would start and end with that game, or if other developers would embrace the Xbox Avatar awards and they would start popping up everywhere. We personally had hoped for the latter – which appears to be true!!
